Big Brothers Big Sisters of Muskoka is happy to welcome Fallon Miller as agency Executive Director!
Miller brings years of experience working with social service agencies in the non-profit field. Miller has a Child and Youth Care advanced diploma and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Arts; Child and Youth Care at Ryerson University.
She also has experience in education, residential care, and working within the fields of parenting and subsidized communities.
“I am very excited to continue working with an organization that makes such a valuable difference in young people’s lives,” said Miller. “I am looking forward to continuing Big Brothers Big Sisters of Muskoka’s success of fostering and supporting positive mentoring relationships for children in our community.”
The new Executive Director originally joined the agency in September 2020 as a Mentoring Coordinator. She worked alongside the agency’s outgoing Executive Director, Chrissy King, to bring stability to the organization and expand programming to youth facing adversities across Muskoka.
“I am so proud of all the work that Fallon has done this year and I feel confident in her ability to lead the agency into the future!” King said of the transition, “Her hard work ethic and caring nature makes her the perfect fit to carry on this important work.”
